The startup particularly focuses on introducing these healthcare initiatives in countries that are at the laow end of the socio-economic spectrum.
The Problem that Got Them Thinking
The key challenge Ivision faced was to introduce telemedicine in a region where it was not popular at all. A lot of people resist getting medical help due to not being able to visit the hospital. Ivision wanted to develop a solution that will be user-friendly and compliant with healthcare regulations so that patients and healthcare practitioners can use it easily.
The Value Delivered By Folio3 Digital Health
Folio3 designed a telemedicine web application along with patient-doctor video consultation for the client including patient interface, hospital admin interface, doctor’s interface, and laboratory interface. Some initial ideas related to the workflows were shared by the client. This included the direction including the structure of the application was suggested by us along with the UI/UX, colors, elements, and flows. These were then created into an intuitive, interactive and easy to use minimal viable product clickable prototype.
The Impact
Currently, in the client’s region of Sudan surrounded by North Africa, there is no such solution for the patients and hospitals to have online consultations along with record of medical data. This extends their services to a larger range as during COVID restrictions, this would be extremely helpful for the patients to get medical care. Another major result that was achieved with the help of this solution was that it provided hospitals access to more patients on a daily basis and more doctors to be on boarded.
